Default drowsiness

When I picked up my new thyroid prescription (hashimotos), the pharmacist said that I should be feeling less tired in about a week and much better in about a month. I've been taking it for a couple weeks now. It's just a tiny dose, but I have been feeling more drowsy ever since i started taking it, no more energy at all... I have so many other things wrong with me, I can't tell if its related or not. I have a history of fatigue that is better or worse at various times. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten drowsiness...it doesn't seem like it's possible. Maybe the timing is just coincidence.

Let's see. Since I started taking it, I feel drowsy all the time and REALLY drowsy, can't stay awake sometimes. This morning I slept in till 10:40....I usually get up at 7:30. And I'm still sleepy. I'm taking 50 mcgs - just a little for the hashimotos. My tsh was 3.9 last time they tested when they found the hashimotos from the antibody test a couple weeks ago.
I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't doing anything, but feeling more tired seems kinda odd. I wonder if its not related at all. Thanks for your note, prunepie.
