Title says it all, but is dry mouth a common side effect of Metformin? I just started taking Met (1000mg til next week) Wednesday night, and have had crazy dry mouth since then, espcially after taking my pills, regardless of how much water I am drinking. TIA!!!

Dry mouth is very common, drink plenty of water.

I've had a lot of dry mouth also. Combined with a really icky taste in my mouth
