Hello. I have the same problem. I keep lip gloss on my lips - it is sexy and you don't get the white mess. Also, if I don't rinse out my toothpaste - it is even worse. I have read that drinking some herbal teas can prevent bad breath. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Had this while on a certain medication for a while. I found a mouthwash/toothpaste that helped a little called Biotene. You should be able to find it almost anywhere (Wal-Mart, Rite Aid, etc). A little more expensive than other mouthwash, but worth a try (about $5.00 for 16 oz, vs $5-6 for 32 oz). White Bottle with Blue/Red/Black label.

I've heard of this happening for a couple of reasons:

1. Severe allergies can cause a "film" on the toungue with symptoms like described

2. A yeast or other fungal infection in the mouth.

You might want to ask your Dr about this. They can scrape your toungue to make sure it isn't some kind of infection. Hope this helps!
