Hi everyone...

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I can handle what would have been my twins due date. The due date would have been this Friday (11/7). I was considering taking the day off from work to remember, but I think I would just sit home & cry. My husband thinks I should just go to work & try not to dwell on it too much.

I have also been trying to come up with some meaningful way to memorialize my babies. I'm hoping that memorializing them will give me some peace & closure. Don't think I'm crazy, but what about a small tattoo? I've been thinking about two sets of angel wings on my ankle.

My heart hurts so much & my arms ache for my children. Any suggestions on how to make the day easier? ~Ann

After 4 miscarriages, we are moving on to adoption. We are looking to adopt a bi-racial baby from a private agency in Florida.

All adoption paperwork is done and we are patiently (ha!) waiting for our little dream come true!

I think you should do whatever you feel is best. When the due date of my first m/c'd baby came, I was just returning from a trip so it kind of came and went without me really realizing what the day was. It didn't really hit me until it had been a year since I m/c. Then I cried for days! Some suggestions I would have to take your mind off of it would be to schedule a manicure for after work, have your hair done or get a massage. Treat yourself and dh to a nice dinner out. Rent your favorite comedy and try to laugh a little.

The way I am memorializing my three angels is this Christmas I'm going to buy myself an earring in the birthstone of each month my babies were due. I have a lot of holes in my ears so I have plenty of room. The three stones don't really match but I don't care. If anybody has the audacity to comment on it, I'll make them feel like a piece of poop when I tell them what they represent!

I had a tatoo done of two angels sleeping on a cloud. It is on my left shoulder blade. I also wear a necklace with two tiny baby rings and a cross on it.

My former due date was October 24th. I stayed home from work that day. I kept myself busy working on a craft for Children's Church for that Sunday. I also went shopping and just played lazy. I got a tattoo for my little girl in June.

though I have never been though a MC myself, Today is the day my sister was due (11/4) and i was wondering how she was coping, for I have been thinking about it all morning myself. Unfortunately, so many things are going on today for her that the date kept being brought up and I'd cringe for her everytime someone would say "November 4". Your suggestions are a beautiful way to remember your children.
