My doctor says I am not allowed to stay on Effexor b/c it makes my blood pressure borderline high. (I am really pissed off about him deciding this.) He wants me to start up with a research study about Duloxetine instead. Has anyone even heard of Duloxetine? Had any experience or info about it? I am feeling really reluctant but I'm not getting much of a choice here. It's all upsetting me a lot. I hate medicine. I tried like 7 different other medicines before Effexor and they all made me totally sick, b/c my body is just really sensitive to medicine, even OTC stuff, I get really extreme versions of any side effects, just because my body is so sensitive to any medicine. I have been on Effexor for 3 years and now I am going to be a mess when they take me off it. I am so pissed off. Grumble. Please tell me if you have any information for me about this new medicine.
