Talking Dumb Question, but curious...

Howdy ladies,

I was just on the phone with my mother. She was diagnosed 3 years ago with having a tumor (non cancerous) on her adrenal gland.

The list of issues that she has pretty much mirrors PCOS! The only difference is that her ovaries are not covered in cysts... She has had 1 or 2 cysts on her ovaries in her whole menstruating life. I was wondering if those two conditions are linked?? Her blood sugar levels are high, her cholesterol is high, her blood pressure is high, the has fat around her middle (she was always skinny when she almost all her life. I guess you can say she would be up and down), she has horrible sugar and carb cravings, her hormones are totally imbalanced, she has some hair in some of the wrong places....

Do you know or what do you think??

Also, is the tumor on the adrenal gland hereditary?

Just curious.... Thanks for reading

Not a dumb question! I don't know the answer. Have you tried googling it? It's amazing what you can find!
