Default During the "placebo week" is all the pills effects out of your system?

So here's the deal I've had "white coat hypertension" I suppose you can say for awhile---but it only happens on regularly scheduled doctors visits, urgent care needs, such as when I broke my finger, had a sinus infection, pink eye, it's okay---Usually at the regular doctor the blood pressure goes back to normal--Example last time I was at the gyn it was 150/90, then it was went down to 132/84 like 20 minutes later. She wanted me to go to the doctor and get it checked out all three times they checked it was 150/90 and he said well come back in march and we'll re-evauluate---the only difference between this and the previous doctor was the fact that he used a large cuff and I had switched from ortho-cyclen to yasmin. So now I am on the placebo week and suffering from unrelievable sinus pressure and scared to take sudafed---I went to urgent care. My pressure was 124/76---so he said it was fine to take the sudafed---my question? Could this be because I stopped taking the yasmin on sunday? The regular doctor was like well maybe we'll put you on blood pressure medicine so you can keep taking the bcp's ---I mean ortho gave me shorter less painful periods (not done with pain--but less), less breast tenderness, regular periods, the Yasmin---has maybe stopped some of the hair loss, but given me extreme breast tenderness again and heavier more painful periods-but short. I am almost ready to swap back to that anyway--I go back to the gyn February---so anyway---is this just my lack of days of freaking out about the blood pressuer or because I am on the placebo?

My blood pressure is usually low average but at times at the dr. it raises to where yours did. I even checked it once at K-Mart (You know the ones at the pharmacy dept. stations) on a crazy shoping day with the kids and it was low then.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless there is a history and other hypertention symptoms. The ortho may be a better pill for this anyway since it is lower in prog. and estrog. effect. I had the same results with yasmin but my s/e never went away and it was way too much prog. for me so I also returned to ortho cyclen. I also liked ortho cept(desogen).

Just my thoughts!
