well i went for my post op today....the doctor informed me that the results of the biopsied tissue came back and although very little cells, they were positive for ovarian cancer...stage 1.
anyone else with this?? he just said its not so severe i need full blown chemo just need to watch it and keep on track and that lupron is a form of chemo they are going to use an injection for that and endometriosis 1x a month for 6 mths....has this happened to anyone else? he said since the surgery removed the tumor and cells this will work/should work..
its hitting me now...im scared but very grateful they found it early from all ive read...i thank my lucky stars about that day i collapsed at work and they forced me to the ER when i didnt wanna go, cause thats when they found out i needed surgery....
blah...im so scared. they got it all he said and showed me pics of before and after inside, and my goodness i was a mess before, but its so scary...!!!
So sorry to hear that. Im only 14 so im not sure on any matters to do with overian cancer but i know that you'll be in my prayers. Im here for support

I am sorry that you are going thru this. Ovarian Cancer is curable in the early stages. So yes, you are very fortunate that you had the surgery. But if you are not comfortable with his explanation or need reassurance please seek a second opinion. Good luck!

I'm so sorry you have to go through this!!! I have never had ovarian cancer before but I have had leukemia as a child. I'm sure you are very scared as I was. Just try to remember that it's in stage 1. You have a very high chance of beating this. Even the Dr is positive about it. Just make sure you take care of yourself and be sure not to miss any of your appt.
