I'm just curious what the earliest you guys found of the sex. And if it was early, was it accurate? And what kind of ultrasound did you have?

I had my doctor "peek" at like 16-18 weeks, and he told me unofficially it was a girl - which was confirmed at my level 2.

My OBGYN told me at 12 weeks that if she "had to bet" she would say it was a girl, which was confirmed at 18 1/2 weeks.

I found out I was definitely having a girl at 18 weeks. It was confirmed for sure that day by 3 ultrasound techs and my Dr. All ultrasounds after that confirmed it also.

With pregnancy #2 I went to the ER for spotting at 16 weeks and had an ultrasound and the tech told me she was 99% sure it was a boy. This was confirmed at my 20 week ultrasound.

My doctor did a quick "gender" scan at 17 weeks, was told it was a boy. Every scan I've had since has confirmed that, including a level 2 scan.

at 18 wks and 22 wks we were told girl. we shall see if they were correct in 6 weeks...

With DS I was told at 18 wks we were having a boy; confirmed with another u/s for growth problems at 35 wks.
With this pg, the u/s tech said she was "pretty certain" I was having a girl at 11 1/2 wks; my 21 wk u/s confirmed we're having a girl!

I just found out on Monday (at 12 weeks) that I am having a girl. I had my nuchal translucency scan/ultrasound done and the doctor said right away that he was well over 90% sure that it is a girl. He said that if I had waited 2 or 3 more days (well into my 12th week) that he would pretty much be 100% positive that it is a girl. I'm not buying pink until I have my 18 week u/s to confirm.

While I've never had a baby I'd like to share a little ditty about being careful. Of course nothing is "for sure" but my gf just had her baby last Sunday, and up until the ultra sound right before the C-section they told her she was having a girl. Bought all girl clothes , bedding etc. Had the c-section surprise! Boy!! Crazy stuff. Although I might be a bit peeved that it was all girl stuff lol.

At my NTT at almost 14 weeks, they said it looked like a boy. I had another u/s later that week and that u/s tech thought it looked like a boy as well. I was pretty sure after that week! So early!

Well, my friend just assumed they were right and bought all girl stuff. It turned out to be a boy. I kind of blame my friend for that though, I would never have bought anything until I knew the DR was sure.
