Default early mc, period, clomid

hi. i am having a miscarriage right now. i was 5 weeks when i started spotting brown. 5w4d when i started bleeding red. i need info before i talk to the doctor.

is this bleeding a period? i mean it is pretty early of a miscarriage so... i did check out some links i saw in previous threads, but i dont know if some of the information i saw applies to this situation. is this a situation where i have to wait 4 weeks or more for a period? can i start clomid this "cycle"?

any piece of information that anyone wants to give me id appreciate it.

thanks

first of all, I'm sorry for your loss.
I would consider this you miscarriage not a cycle. For some it takes a few days of bleeding similar to af for a mc to finally be over. It may take several weeks for all your hormones to come back to normal. If your af are normal (and even if not) you may not get your af for several weeks (4-6) I would wait til you have an actual period before you start taking any fert meds again.
Talk to your Dr for a better explanation.

Arewecrazy - I'm really sorry about what you're going through. I agree with the other ladies: m/c bleeding generally goes on for a week (sometimes longer) and isn't considered af. Af usually doesn't show for several weeks after (not until all hormones, etc, have gone back to normal).

But overall, you should talk to your dr. They will be best to advise you and make sure you're healthy so when you do try again you have the best chance!

Thanking God that one day in heaven I will meet my dear, cherished little one who died in the womb, February 2004.
