I just moved to edmonton and im looking for recomendations on an endro.
As well as if you could recomend a GP. i would be looking for a GP on the south side.... near the univeristy farms area...
dosent matter if its a man or woman...

If you haven't you might want to check & see if there are doctors posted on the Canadian PCOS friendly physcian post
I know there are many cyster on here from the Edmonton area so hopefully one of them can suggest an endocrinologist or family doctor.

my endo dr is dr McNab (i see her at the u of a hospital) i have only seen her once and am going again in march i was new to the city to just moved here in sept she is a nice lady and she explained everything to me and she actually used words i understood rather then talk completely over my head like some of my other dr's in the past did

My endo is Dr Sagle at the Womens Fertility & Endocrine Clinic at the Royal Alex. She is very nice. You will need a referal to get an aptmt but pm me if you would like contact info.

If you are looking for a GP, our clinic usually takes new patients. There are lots of doctors, so I don't know which ones are accepting, but I would highly recommend the the Justik Clinic (83 ave 105 Street). We see Dr. Cull there. One of the best things about this for us is that the have a afterhours walk in clinic just for thier patients...therefore no medicentre! We don't see our doc to often, but we love being able especially to take the kids if something comes up.

For an endo, I saw Dr. Sagle (that Ducky recommended), I also saw Dr. Tataryn @ the Hys Centre. Both were good.
