Hello , I would like to know if anyone could recommend a Fertility/RE dr in Edmonton ? My husband will be flying soon there to a job interview and if all goes well we will more then likely be moving there. I have just got into a Fertility clinic here in Montreal after a 4 month wait and I am about to start an injection cycle. I would like to know if anyone knows a good specialist that would be able to get me in quickly if possible if I we were to move there.

I did a search and came up with the
Women's Endocrinology Clinic, Royal Alexandra Hospital, 10240 Kingsway Ave., CSC - Room 138, Edmonton, 780-735-5609
The Foothills clinic in Calgary maybe a little far to travel but is supposed to be good.
I am relocating this week to Alberta for dh's job and so far my interaction with the clinic hasn't been so great. They don't return calls(but what clinic does), their waiting times are dissapointing & their patient care so far has not been so impressive but their statistics are excellent(and that's what counts)
Hopefully someone else from the area can enlighten us if there are any other clinics in Edmonton.

there is an office in Edmonton,They should be able to help you..

Hey Shelly ... I am from Edmonton ...

I see Dr. Dan Hodges. He is not a specialist, just a regular OB/GYN, but many of his patients have PCOS ... He is associated with the Royal Alexandra Hospital here in Edmonton.

I have heard of a lady by the name of Dr. Sagle, she is located in the Women's Centre, also part of the Royal Alexandra. She is a RE who specializes in PCOS and infertility. From some that I know who have gone to her, she is very good.

Hi Shelley,

I live north of Edmonton - about 4 hours. I chose to go to the clinic in Calgary. Much better results. Once you are scheduled and have your initial appointment - things improve with the calls and such. I have one beautiful daughter from IVF and just did a FET of which also worked. I am now 5 weeks PG. But I have also had friends go to Edmonton for IUI one of whom it worked for and one didnt'
