8 years???? i've been going for one year and i'm almost done. are you sure your electrologist knows what they're doing? it's supposed to stop growing back all together. unless your keep doing new areas???
you don't need to let it grow like with waxing. i shave in between treatments (right now i'm getting my underarms done) but i'm almost done with the areas i started with about a year and a half ago, for example my upper lip, the only hairs that i get are blonde, but under the light, my electrologist can still get them.
I've been going for eight years, but not all the time...I actually took time off from her for about maybe 2 years. I'm always doing different spots. My hair on my face is all gone. I only go anyway every 3 months now, if that...just to touch up hairs that I see and wanna get...I'll sometimes do my belly (which I still have to finish). I probably don't have to go anymore, but I'm very close with my Electrolysis LOL I've made a friend. The last time I went was awhile ago.

I've seen three different ones and have spent quite a bit of money on it actually.... this was a while back... I never got such great results and one time one person messed up on my upper lip: she flinched or something and I had a scare there for awhile. Luckily it's now un-noticeable! whew... I never went back... I'm not completely opposed to it...just cautious.

That's awesome about it working with your upper lip! How is it with your under arms? Does it hurt more or less or?
