Default Electrolysis

Hi. I wanted to know if anyone has an estimate of the average hourly costs of electrolysis. Also, if anyone happens to have that information for the regions of South Florida, Southwest Florida, or Central Florida, please let me know that as well.

I'm not sure about prices, but if you want to cover large areas with just electrolysis it's likely they won't even do it. Some price it by the area, others by time. The best thing to do is find a place that actually does eletrolysis and ask them how much they charge. Sometimes they give discounts if you want to do alot of sessions, so make sure to look into that as well.

Yesterday I looked into laser hair removal, the person charged the expense at around $6,000-$8,000 for the entire body + face. Which included several visits.

I don't know about Florida, but I'm in the Midwest and paid about $60.00 an hour. I went for a couple of years treating my checks, neck, chin, upper lip, and eyebrows. You want to make sure and go to someone that is qualified. If it is done improperly it can cause scarring. Also, in my experience it is not permanent if your body is not "in order". In other words if you are not treating PCOS with diet, medication, combination or whatever then it probably won't be permanent. For me it was still worth it at the time, even though it was not permanent. Hope this helps. Jean

In my 30's I decided to get rid of my facial hair for good. I started going to an electrolysis once a week for over a year. Really, I had so much hair growing in different stages that I should have gone twice a week, but couldn't afford it.
After a year, she had removed 70% of the hair. I had some very stubborn areas where the hair just kept growing back. She said it was because I had plucked the hair so much that it damaged the hair shaft. It was now shaped like a cork screw & it was a hit or miss situation. After a few more weeks with no success, I decided to quit. I had spent a huge amount of money & frankly was tired of walking around with very noticeable black hair on my chin & upper lip. One day I plan to try lazer.

Cool repley to electrolysis

hi there all,
just a note on the above subject!
i am a trainee beauty therapist and work in a salon so i kinda know a little bit about electrolysis, however, i am in england so i probably wont be much help! in my salon the prices range anything from £6.50 for up to 5 mins and about £30.00 for an hour! my boss has been doing is for quite a while so she knows whats involved, it is really important that you go to a qualified therapist as it could cause immense damage and you will wish you stayed hairy! savlon is an idea medium to put on your skin after you've had it done and it absolutely KILLS, i had it done on my belly cos thats my worse hairy area, i only had a few hairs out because it hurt me loads!
well hope that was some use at least!
