I had laser done on my legs over four years ago and I have only a few patches that have grown back. What you have to remember about the laser is that it works by focusing on the pigment. That means that dark hair with light skin is the best candidate. The darker your skin is, you will have a larger risk of scars. Also hair grow in cycles, between 4-6 weeks in each cycle, and you cannot wax, tweeze, or anything that is going to pull the hair from the root for at least 6 weeks prior to your first treatment and during the treatment. You can however shave, as this does nothing to the follicle. I had 6 treatments, all spaced out between 4-6 weeks of each other and I had great results.
