Red face Elevated cholesterol - What can I take?

I had a blood test done about 3 weeks ago and my cholesterol came back at 113. I know there has to be something out there I can take that can help with lowering it?

Do you ladies know of anything?

I know you wanted 'alternative' remedies, but did you see where this cholesterol drug can also help lower testosterone in cysters?

I lowered my cholesterol with 2000mg of Omega 3 pills & 1000mg of odorless garlic pills. I think I may have had hypocholestemia caused by Effexor though so my LDL levels were at 269!!! After 6 mos it went down to 167 and I didn't try all that much to lower it (still smoke, though I should quit).

Looks like your levels are just slightly elevated so I am thinking this should work for you.

I took Garlique, worked very well. My cholesterol was really high and I started looking at everythin I eat, well I am not much of a meat eater, and there were always low amounts in my other foods, if any at all. My good cholesterol is too low so she has me taking niacin at bedtime to raise that (not sure yet if it worked, haven't had the blood work for it.

113 is not high cholesterol! Did you mean your HDL?
