Default embaressing, personal question

I have excess hair on my face, which I know is related to my pcos...but about a year ago I noticed a bald spot in my pubic area, front and center, right over the pubis -- it's a completely bald spot about 2 inches across.
Any ideas of what this is all about?!!???!!??!?
It's anough that I feel like I have too much hair in this area, but then a bald spot in the middle is just STUPID, I feel like a freak.

LOL...Riverchick, I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing WITH you because I have the same issue. I guess I don't pay too much attention to it since I'm single so nobody else has to be bothered with that area at the moment. When I first noticed it I was like what the he!!? But now I don't care. Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone, and you're NOT a freak. ((hugs))

You're are not alone! I have been losing a lot of hairs down there! I'm sure I will have a bald spot too! I don't understand why the hair on your head falls out and the hair on your face doesn't!

There was a thread about this not too long ago:

I am so glad I am not alone in this. Luckily for me, DH doesn't mind it and it is not as bad as this awful losing the hair on my head where everyone can see it. It does make me feel "dorky", though! I guess it will keep me in line after 20 years of marriage...I would be too embarrassed to have an affair and expose it to anyone else!

Default THANKS!!!

I feel so much better not being a lone freak like this!!!
Now I just can't decide whether to keep the surrounding area trimmed so that it's less of a contrast, or keep it long so that it partially covers the bald area...
Thank goodness I'm a "lights out" kind of gal...which started b.c of the weight, buit that's anotehr thread!!!

... you're not alone! I always thought of drawing a happy face on that spot. Or perhaps other things for DH to see.
