Well I'm in there with you. But the other way round. I have the opposite. During my periods I have to go many times in the day and it will be extremely liquid. I think its because of the hormones balancing out.
Sorry I cannot be of any help to you about the bloating though.

I experience something similar. As soon as my period starts I have intense pressure in my abdomen which get much worse if I have to have a bowel movement. Even having to urinate causes it and it's terrible when I wake up in the morning.
I can't really say that having bowel movement is painful but there is definitely a measure of discomfort. I've actually considered doing bowel cleansing before my period and then fasting during it so that I wouldn't have to deal with it.
Strangely, the whole sensation disappears with my period and things go back to normal. I've only had it for the last year or so which makes me wonder what's changed to cause it.
