No one has ever said anything to me..but, I certainly notice and yes it becomes erect...(can't believe..I'm telling people this...)causing some very embarassing and funny moments over the years.
So are you going to tell us how it was embarrassing and what caused the amusement? I don't possess such a thing as a swimsuit, but I can imagine having to "run for cover" if I thought my erect clitoris might be noticed by someone else! :-)

Come to find out we both had PCOS and we were comparing symptoms, meds, etc. We had left the coffee shop and walked through a major dept store and went by the dept where they sold the latest hi tech electric toothbrushes. We looked at the displays and then at each other and we broke out in a 10 min giggling session remembering that morning so many years ago. Others in the store thought we had lost our minds. As we walked to the car…she mentioned that she had remembered that I had such a large clitoris and now with the PCOS did I still have that. She said that she too had had this happen to her with the PCOS and had never really talked to anyone about it. Her ex husband was put off by it as mine had been too. She had always been pretty open and so I didn’t find this to be uncomfortable to talk about with her.

The whole thumb. Some women have a clitoris a couple of inches long. If any of the underside of the shaft is exposed it can project outwards significantly if/when it gets erect.

I think you must have been unfortunate in your ex-husbands -- what was it about your clitoris that that put off your ex? Was he perhaps jealous that you could get satisfaction without him?
Obviously the memory of the fun that a large clitoris could be must have stuck with your friend for many years after seeing yours erect.

There are several pictures posted by members earlier on in this thread and links to other pictures hosted elsewhere.
Clitoral size varies widely -- your clitoris may be as small as a very small pea -- or as large as your whole thumb. Occasionally the underside of the shaft may be free, in which case it may stick out when erect, but normally the underside of the shaft is retained by the surrounding skin, so it points downwards.
The size of labia also varies enormously. Some women have outer and inner labia which are very large, others have either the outer or the inner labia large. Others again have almost no labial development, just a shallow continuation forward of the butt crack, leaving them fairly open underneath and the clitoris exposed.
As far as I know, no-one who's posted photos has had any problems as a result.
My clitoris isn't big, but this is an interesting symptom.

I too have been told I have a large one! I was way freaked out at first. Then I started doing research and got the low down... lol.. The normal size, (are you ready for this???) is that of a pencil eraser!!!! That is tiny compared to mine. I had one guy compare it to an almond:o. But no complaints from men, they usually dig it. But it sometimes gets super sensitive to a fault . Glad you girls are in this with me!!!!
AH! this is another genital related problem that I suffer with...i knew it was big! mine is no where near the size of a pencil eraser...and mine is extrememly sensitive, if I am on the verge of climaxing, sometimes I have to stop because it feels like all my nerves are going to pack in and I am going to have a heart attack haha...I always new there was something not right with that...the hood it large, and darker (labias are darker too) than the actual clitoris though which bugs the hell out of me..and I have always looked at it and not felt neat enough because of it..I just hate my genitalia full stop but at least when a guy asks me I can actually have a proper valid reason as to why its so large...like I said in the other thread, I am seriously considering surgery on it..
