Hello!
I am thinking about going to an endo... What do they do? Is it worth it? I know PCOS is an endocrine disorder so my thinking is perhaps they will know more than my ob about PCOS. What do you think? I am new to the Kansas City, KS area and am in need of an OB really bad... So far no luck on the looking for a doc page... I am thinking go to the endo and maybe they will work with a particular ob...
Any info would be great! Thank you
Karen

It depends on the doctor. I think those who specialize in infertility (be it a reproductive endo or an OB/GYN) typically are more knowledgable about PCOS. The endocrinologist I went to was not at all up to date on PCOS.
Good luck!
