Endo/OB-GYN in Mass that rx's Metformin?

Hi, I've been diagnosed with PCOS and am looking for a good endo/OB-GYN in Massachusetts to prescribe me with metformin. I've already been to 3 terrible doctors who have pretty much insulted me about the way I look and say there's nothing they can really do. They just load me up with birth control pills, but I don't react well to them. I was hoping to find a doctor that actually listens to my problems and is willing to prescribe me metformin without being IR (I've only had one fasting glucose test done and it came back in the normal range). I exercise tremendously, maybe a little too much, just to try to maintain, but the pounds slowly keep adding on. I'm thinking this might be why the glucose test came back normal because I really feel as though I'm slightly IR, the tests simply just don't show it. If anything, the metformin could also just be a preventative measure for future problems if the weight doesn't stop increasing. Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

You probably found one by now, but What part of MA? I have a good RE in RI. Providence RI. If you are Central MA, it wouldn't be far.

There is also a OB/GYN in central MA (Southbridge) who offers Met, I don't know if he's willing to rx it without the presence of IR though.
