I am sure he can recommend someone. I want to look into seeing an Endocrinologist too, just because I feel they will know alot more about to help us in our situation. Dr. Kleinpeter is great, after 20 months of TTC he was able to help me ovulate and within a few months I was pregnant. I feel that that is as far as he goes for PCOS, I mean just helping women get pregnant. When he told me that I had PCOS he was very nonchalant about it, like it was no big deal. I had to go out and purchase books and do some research online to understand what exactly PCOS is. I feel that an Endocrinologist would be way more insightful about this condition and would be helpful in managing it's many different side effects. After I have my baby I will definitely look into finding one. If you find a good one let me know.

Yay, congratulations! That is awesome! I'm going to a GYN at the LSU health center for my yearly in a few weeks. I've never been to him before, but fingers crossed that he knows a thing or two about PCOS & all of the lovely things that go along with it. I'll ask him about a possible endo & get back to you! |

They actually have 3 or 4 endos on staff there, so you can pick and choose to a certain degree. My husband and I went to several different specialists there and liked them all. We got transferred to New Orleans, and then to Florida, or I would still be seeing the docs there.
Good Luck,
Tracey |

Take Care,
Tracey |

A friend of mine with PCOS recommended him and my gynie referred me to him. I didn't see him b/c he was out sick. I saw his partner, Dr. Ory Marrioneax. I really liked him. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all of my questions. Both of these doctors practice in Baton Rouge at the Metabolic Center. It is on Dijon near Our Lady of the Lake. |
