My Mood: Points: 995.16 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 995.16 | endometrial biopsy? My doctor (well not my doctor) but the doctor at the low cost clinic asked me if my periods were heavy. And I said yes. I mean what is heavy? Is there a norm? They seemed heavy to me but they have always been on like the 2nd and 3rd day. And she said I should have an endometrial biopsy. Well I am not particularly fond of the idea. Should I try to see an obgyn rather than a regular doctor and get their opinion? Because I don't want to randomly have an endometrial biopsy. Thanks! |

My Mood: Points: 199.65 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 199.65 | Thanks RosieCheeks, I appreciate the honesty. I have heard everything from it's horrible, to I barely noticed. So I guess it really does depend on the individual person, doctor, and method used. I am just really nervous about it. |

The RE told me that he would stick the cathetar (sp?) through the cervix and suck a piece of the lining out. Let me tell you, it felt like he was sucking out my belly button from the inside...LOL
Even though, they do tell you to take some Mortin or Tylenol half an hour to an hour before.
