I got the results of my biopsy today....no abnormal cells! I almost cried with relief. The doctor is putting me on progesterone on a three month cycle to make sure the lining of my uterus doesn't build up, but we can start TTC almost immediately. Now I just need my husband to finish the job he's working on in southern CA and come home!

I hope everyone who posts in this thread has good news soon, and that it doesn't come back again. My thoughts are with all of you.

I was at my Dr's yesterday and she was a bit upset that I have waited so long to see her and I haven't had my AF since January!
She said that it could be cancerous and then wrote me a RZ for provera 10days!
I am going for a vaginal ultrasound to make sure everything is ok and go see a GYN

I am putting my faith in God that everything is ok and it is just PCOS related

I was diagnosed "complex hyperplasia with atypia". My gyno sent me to gynecologic oncologist. I had to take Megace and then two d & c's later I have just a little hyperplasia but not atypical cells. I think just getting cleaned out and taking the meds helped. I would be scared that just taking provera isn't an aggressive enough treatment.

Hi Cysters!

First of all, that me say, my prayers are with you.

Recently- I had a good pap, but bleeding during non period days, pain, so my practitioner has ordered a vaginal ultrasound. Some blood results came back and the nurses have been really like "dah"- I could probably hit them a ruler and they would not realize what the record say: "hold results- doctor will share results on Sept. 23 after Endo and ultrasound!"

I almost chuckled when the nurse said try eating more vegetables, less red meat and more salmon-dah!

I have a vitamin D deficiency; anyone else?????

((HUGS)) to all

Hi Ladies... I'm sorry you are dealing with this sort of scare. My mother was constantly getting displasia, and atipia. Her Dr. has wanted to do a hysterectomy for oh... 25 years now... She always has some sort of cancer cells. Well, almost always.

Now, I have NO IDEA where the line would be drawn with this... but She started taking mega doses of folic acid. Talk to a pharmacist as to how much you can take. Every time she gets a bad pap, she doses again, and it's gone... She's also had a couple of freezes and burns... and her cervix is pretty trashed from that.

If you have to have a hysterectomy, see if they can keep your ovaries for the hormones...

My prayers are with you that a solution arises that preserves your uterus... And YOUR LIFE!

I'm back for an update. I got my d&c results on the 12th. After 3 months of megace, the cancer is almost clear. My doctor was very pleased with the results. He said there was only a very small amount left and it was only in one area where before it was scattered throughout. I will continue megace for 3 more months and have another d&c at the end of Jan or early Feb. I have read that endometrial cancer can take 6-9 months to clear with megace treatment. I am very happy with my results. Thanks everyone.

That is soooo wonderful!!. In june i recieved a biopsy which they stated was fine. Around that time i started getting constipated. I strted to notice blood, but not regular spotting. Its like mixed in a clear discharge(SORRY). it comes and goes. Now i feel like i have a bladder infection..being treated for one. I just have a funny feeling, but my GYN lookd at my biopsy results and stated he wasnt concerned about my lining being a little thick because thats normal for women my age. My RE suggested a D/C but i am sooo scared to get it. I dont know anymore.

What are you scared about? If you share your fears maybe we can help.
