Question Endometrial polyp

Has anyone had Endometrial polyp's?
My doc told me they were removed when I had my d&c.
They were normal and no signs of any abnormality.

Does it mean anything?

I have/had uterine fibroid tumors. I don't know if they are the same or similiar or what. Anybody know??? I had one the size of a golf ball removed during my first laproscopy and then some removed at the others. I recently found out I have more but I am not doing surgery because obviously they keep coming back from surgery so I decided to try something different - acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicinal Herbs. Good Luck!

A polyp is an overgrowth of cellsl, and can grow anywhere there are mucus membranes. I have had one and had it removed through a hysteroscopy 2 months ago. They are 99% of the time benign. A fibroid is a muscular tissue tumor, they tend to be much larger, and while most are benign, it is more common for cellular abnormalities to occur with those than with Polyps.

I had one removed earlier this year with my d&c. The doc brushed it off like it was insignificant.

I'm having a small polyp in my uterus removed in October and was told it was no big deal, outpatient surgery but I will remain a little drugged up and out of sorts for up to a day after the procedure. Does anyone know if I have to wait a certain period of time after the polyp is removed before starting IVF treatment?
