My Mood: Points: 10,279.86 Bank: 4,308,701.19 Total Points: 4,318,981.06 | Hello again... My weekend was good. My Thanksgiving was nice. I enjoyed being with family and eating yummy food. Friday and Saturday, I stayed home. I did housework and such as that. DH and I put up our Christmas tree on Friday night. I put up the other smaller tree on Saturday along with other decorations inside. When the weather improves, DH and I will decorate outside soon.
Anymoo, AF left over the weekend. Whoever needs her can have her.
I'm in a weird mood and have been the last few days. I range from feeling a little down to anxious to just really unsure of myself. I figure its just my body adjusting to not taking BCPs but I don't know. Of course, I have TTC on my mind and I'm a little nervous about all that too. 4 days!!!
Lee-I hope everyone is feeling better by now. How are you doing?
Leah-I hope your appointment goes well today.
Lisa-I hope AF will not be so rough on you and let up soon. ((HUGS)) As for the fourth pregnant friend, it's easy to feel jealous but I believe you'll have your chance soon, sweet cyster. ((BABYDUST))
Roz-I can understand feeling uncomfortable with all the calls from the ex-girl to J. Approach the subject with him in a non threatening way. I hope talking to him about that will help. ((HUGS))
Lizzie-I'm glad you had a nice birthday.
Jenn-WOW!! Congrats on the downsizing of your weight!!!
Krystal-Hope you and your little one are doing well!
Paisley-How are you doing?
Corrie-How are you?
Regina, Jane, others-Hope y'all are well!!!!

I'm just hoping I can get off half the day for my dr. appointment I've been counting down to on my ticker. I still will have to work all weekend and all next week. The reason I can't be off is my coworker's son is back in the hospital and I'll be filling in for her. I really don't mind filling in for her. I have no ill will toward her. She's doing the best she can in a tough situation. I've just being counting on having Dec. 2nd off to have my dr. appointment and spend the day with DH who took off that day. I've been counting on this day for many months. I will cry if I can't have at least Friday afternoon off. If I can just have the afternoon, then I'll deal with the situation. I'll be back. I just got an email from my boss to change my appointment..........I'm so pissed right now.

Went to the doctor today. He did not really address why I am not having AF, nor did I question it too much b/c I was blown away by what he was saying. He suggests IUI. It has only been 3 months since the surgery. I know that AF is missing but I don't understand why provera and clomid won't work. We only charted one cycle and he has decided that I do not ovulate based on that cycle. Do you have AF even if you are not ovulating? I have to call and ask several questions regarding my insurance, does the cost of IUI only cover one cycle, or three and so forth. I am just so upset. I have all these health issues and it is just one problem after another. I feel so fat and ugly most days. I used to have beautiful skin but it is horrible now. Why can't I get pregnant on my own???? sorry, I needed to vent, and for those ttc right now I am sorry to b**** when you have been at this longer than me. |

My Mood: Points: 2,040.77 Bank: 32.05 Total Points: 2,072.82 | Leah - I honestly hope your doc is not telling you that you can't have AF unless you are ovulating. If so, RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!!!! YES you can have AF and not ovulate. Also, if I were you, get a second opinion, it never hurts.
I don't want to upset you in any way by asking this, but are you on any type of diet or exercising? The reason I ask is I had barely any AF's until I lost 20 pounds and started exercising. Not saying that is a cure, but it *definitely* helps. Weight loss is something that is VERY difficult with cysters, especially ones who have the insulin problem (like me), but it's not impossible and takes LOTS of hard work.
Anyway I hope you feel better, and please think about getting a second opinion. HUGS

I honestly believed I couldn't do it, and here I am!!! I'm just shocked right now that I've dropped that much weight
On another note, my 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up My hubby is going to buy me another wedding band for my weight loss and anniversary present.
I'm also setting up an appointment for the ob/gyn, it's time for another lap. Like I said last week, this last period was HELL and I was throwing up from the pain. I'm disappointed because I honestly thought losing this much weight would help some. We are trying, so maybe it will help.
I am going to send you guys a link of pictures sometime this week, just some holiday pics
I'm also moving this weekend, fun fun! At least it's a bigger, nicer place.
Anyway HUGS to all, I"ll try and be around some tomorrow

Thanks!!!!!!
Jenn,
No diet right now. Going to the gym when I am up to it. But I was going to the gym and dieting everyday and no weight loss. also, have always been
"obese" never missed a period until after the lap. It just stopped. That is just strange to me. My doctor didn't say that you couldn't have AF if you didn't ovulate. I just wasn't sure. He didn't really act to concerned about AF being missing in action. I don't want to do a second opinion b/c I have missed so much work but I may have to find a doctor closer to home. but he did the surgery and knows my history and I hate to change. Ugh!
Corre,
Thanks. I needed that. |

I was scheduled for the IUI last month but I didnt ovulate. My insurance does not cover it and its a little under $300. Hope this is the month for both of us. I just started another round of clomid today! I am getting frustrated, but we have to hang in there.
to everyone else....hi and hope you are all well!!! talk to you all soon!
Jenn-i had to say congrats to you on your weight loss. thats quite an accomplishment and you should be proud!!! i am proud of you! you rock!
