My Mood: Points: 11,352.67 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 11,352.67 | Lupron Depot to diagnose endo instead of a laparoscopy?? I have a question for all of you knowledgeable woman out there. Any idea why a Doctor would choose to recommend putting me on Lupron Depot to diagnosis whether I have endometriosis instead of just doing a laparoscopy? When I asked the DR. this she said because they can't do anything with the lap to cure i anyways....so lets just put me on this for 6 months to see if my symptoms subside. If they do - then I have endometriosis. Has anyone ever heard of this approach? Isn't usually the lap first...followed up with Lupron Depot? Just curious. I don't know what to do! |
