hey ladies. sorry i have been MIA for several days but boy have you all been busy posting. i am missing out.

just wanted to say to Jen and Paisley, and anyone else in Ritas path......please leave if you can and if its coming anywhere near you at all. last i heard it was a CAT 5 and thats not something to mess around with. I wish you all the best, and please stay safe and let us know your plans if you have the time. we love you all and hope for the best!!!! You are both in my prayers, and your loved ones! take care and get out!!!!! (((((HUGS)))))

Leah-just wanted to share with you that DH and I had fun last night as well, and things went well. I think I am ovualting too! Babydust to both of us....hopefully there is enough to go around for us all! love ya and glad those midterms are over and done for now. do something nice for yourself....you wonderful women!

Glad that things went well for you last night. They did for me too. Sometimes I don't feel as if hubby really wants me. He has never been a big foreplay person, so I don't know why I feel as if he doesn't. He does, I just can't stand my body and all right now. I am back in the gym though. My BIL has been staying with us some during the week for the past 3-4 weeks and I am going crazy. Before BIL came, hubby would come put his arms around me, do some playful groping, kiss my neck type of thing while I was cooking, or just sitting around. I didn't realize how much those little signs of intimacy/love meant to me. I don't like to talk to hubby about foreplay b/c he sometimes get offended and links it to his performance. Anyway, I still enjoy everything, guess I just like to be touched. Anyway, sorry for tmi and the mini rant. Just needed to get it out of my system. I am luckily not in Rita's path, I am in GA. But thanks for the concern. Jenn and Paisley are and I am worried about them. I am so glad midterms are over. The best reward was getting to sleep late yesterday b/c I don't have to be at work until 1:00 on Wednesday's.

I posted on the friends thread, but I just want you to know that we are here for you. I really don't know what to say. I am speechless b/c he has been so sweet the past week or so. I guess you still need to sit down and have a serious talk with him. I would almost say go b/c maybe he is just nervous about you meeting "the black sheep" side of the family. Leah~I'm sorry things are going the way they are for you. I guess I'm just lucky. DH doesn't care if there's anyone here or not. Even if he has to sneak a butt-grab he will. But some guys just aren't as open or comfortable with their affection. I understand that it hurts. Have you tried talking to him about it? Not necessarily about the foreplay part, because you wouldn't want to hurt his feelings or anything, just that you miss him having his arm around you and everything. Another way you could go about the foreplay bit is to make it very clear that it's not that you're NOT SATISFIED just that you want a little more. Say things like "I like it when you do ___". It really does work. Because most guys I know want nothing more than to please their wife. Mine for sure. It's a really touchy subject but how else are you supposed to get what you want?

Don't know why this is bothering me. He has always been this way, and he was affectionate yesterday. I think I am just going through a stage where I don't feel attractive or sexy. It is my problem, not his. But we have talked before and it helps, but then we slip back into the same situation. I swear, it really is just me b/c I can tell when he looks at me that he loves me and wants me. I am just a paranoid person. Used to be on meds for it but I am not now, and usually right after AF I go through a period of self-doubt and that I am not worthy. But I know he loves me. All I have to do is think back to the wedding(he was trying so hard not to cry b/c he was so happy) and how he has supported me through all my problems with endo and such. I will talk to him though.

Here I am. I'm finally able to have time to get on here to catch up a little. I've missed all of my endo cysters! Well, the state inspectors finally got their job done this afternoon. Of course they have to find something wrong but they had to nitpick to find to two little things that they came up with. This was the best survey the facility has had since it has been open (three years)! All of my coworkers were hugging, crying for joy, and thanking the inspectors! My boss said all three shifts would celebrate tomorrow with lots of yummy food! Tomorrow should be a better day.

Lil Lizzie-I'm proud of you for sticking with not smoking. My DH was a smoker before we began dating and he has told me that quitting cold turkey was the only way that worked for him. He has told me it was so difficult physically and psychologically.

Leah-((BABYDUST!)) I know hugs, kisses, and such are an important part of intimacy. You might gently suggest how important those are to you. He may not realize that. I've had moments of self doubt too. I think its part of being a girl with crazy hormones. I hope you feel better about yourself soon and don't be so hard on yourself. Also, I'm glad your midterms are behind you!

Good Morning Cysters! Just wanted to wish you all a great day. I have my RE appointment today - Telling me the risks of surgery and see how I have been doing on Met. After that I am either cleaning or working out all day or somehow both....
