Will be gone home for the weekend so I will be mia until Monday night probably. I will let you gals know how the doctor appt. goes Monday. |

My Mood: Points: 10,283.86 Bank: 4,308,701.19 Total Points: 4,318,985.06 | Good Saturday morning to all! Sorry about being MIA yesterday. Just when I was hopeful Friday would be slightly more peaceful, it was probably the craziest day this week! I got to work early(7:30) to try to get some paperwork done. It was 5:30ish before I got home. I has three admissions and one was not planned. The family just showed up so we managed to go ahead and admit. I was about ready to pull my hair out! Anymoo, I was so exhausted when I got home. I ate some supper and fell asleep on the couch at 7pm. I got up and actually crawled into bed around 9pm. Sleep is good! Well, I'm manager on duty this weekend so guess where I am....work. Somedays I think I should just admit myself since I'm here so much. Oh well, I'll catch up with all you wonderful ladies.
Paisley, it seems you told me before you worked at a nursing home in the past...as a CNA right? Overall, I really like it. It is stressful and some families just will drive a person crazy. I just try to remember that some of that is guilt that their family member is in the nursing home and the staff are easy targets. Anymoo, muscles are a little tense but part of that could be due to stress at work. I'm glad your flu is getting better.
Leah, I hope those antibiotics kick in soon and get your poor throat better. Just rest up this weekend and take care of yourself. I hope your RE appointment goes well. Let us know how it goes. Hopefully, he'll be a good dr. About missing work, I hate missing a lot of time. Besides getting behind, I feel like if I'm asking off for dr. appointments all the time, then I'm just there for the insurance. Of course then, boss and coworkers begin to ask a lot of questions about if I'm ok. I don't mind sharing a bit of what's going on but female issues can be just a bit personal sometimes. Everytime I don't feel well or have a dr. appointment my boss asks me if I'm pregnant. That would be nice but does he have to ask that every time?
Princess, I hope AF will be gentle this time around. I'm not sure I've heard of the pain med you mentioned. If it's not helping with the pain, it could be a good idea to check with another dr. and like you said plead your case.
Lil Lizzie, I'm glad you are here. I'm glad we have a place to support each other with endo.
Hi, Rozlynn! Did you rest better?
Well, time to lurk a bit....I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon.

(8.5 cen) cyst on my right ovary that is being removed via open laparotomy on 8/11. I may also loose that ovary. I am not sure what to feel right now, ecxept confued and scared. Have any of you had this surgery? I will be in the hospital for 2-5 days & off work for 4-6 weeks.

Hi! Welcome to the thread. It can all be a little overwhelming at times for each of us. This thread is a great place to come and vent and just get everything out. I wish you the best with your surgery. Please keep us posted and post as often as you need.
Tiggamoo,
Sorry you had to work this weekend. Hope things calm down for you soon. I am feeling better. I rested yesterday and today went shopping with my sister. Probably should have rested today too but oh well. Yeah, I definitely feel as if I am there for insurance. Depending on what this doctor says tomorrow I may be out even more than I thought for surgery. But I will cross that road when it comes. I share with coworkers what is going on. I am an open person and they ask. I definitely keep my supervisor posted but he is a man so not in much detail.
Paisley,
Thanks for the well wishes. I hope that you had a wonderful weekend. Have a happy Monday!!
Rozlynn,
Hope you had sweet dreams.
Lil Lizzie and Princess,
Hi! Hope all is well.
Heading off to bed ladies. Will fill you in on doctors appt when I get home tomorrow. |

I hope you get some good news tomorrow! I will keep you in my prayers tonight!
I will hopefully be going back to work in the morning. Right now it's not a positive thing, as I am still having my stomach flu symptoms. I am starting to wonder if maybe it is something more serious. I have had it for 6 days now.......I usually only get it for 48 hours at the most. I may just be going back to my Doctor tomorrow.
Tiggamoo, I hope that you are resting! I have missed you!
Rozlynn I miss you too!
Welcome to all of the new members!

I tried to get some good rest in between all the work. Anymoo, I'm doing ok for the most part. My muscles tense up on me at times but I rest some and keep on going some. Oh well....
WELCOME, Sweetmel! I'm glad you found us. The picture of your little girl is so sweet!
I'm sorry you have the cyst on your ovary. I've not had an laparotomy but I understand it does take a bit more time to get over that. Even though surgery is scary, I hope you'll have some answers about the cyst, PCOS, and endo. I know when I decided to have the laproscopy for endo, I was scared to have the surgery but the part of me dealing with the pain and wanting answers was a little bit braver than my fear. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. You are in the right place for support. I look forward to getting to know you!
Leah, I'm glad you felt better enough to fit in a little shopping. I'll be looking for your post on how your dr. appointment goes today. Take care!
Paisley, I'm hoping the rest of those flu symptoms go away. It sounds like you are improving though. Feel better soon!
Princess, Rozlynn, Bert, Lil Lizzie, and anyone else I may have missed...I hope you are all well! Come lurking back soon! |

Make sure you read the papers you sign before going in to the surgery. I had no idea that I signed off that if need be they would have taken my right Ovary. I got told when I came out of surgery that they didn't...Good luck and if you need anything let us know.
Yes my dreams were a lil less horifying then the last week. I started back on my BCP's last night though so I have a good 3/4 weeks of nothingness. I wrote a aim message up saying "I moved back home on a pipe dream and now its time to make some dreams of my own" DB got all upset then angry Oh well its the truth and sometimes the truth hurts right? At this point I still don't know where we will stand *sigh* I am still going to ask about how faithful because some things are just not adding up in my head esp after random chick called -- You think you can trust a person but it takes one second to tear down what almost 2 years put together...its sad really
I apologize once again for being such a piss pot. I have fallen back into a sadness thats been aweful to get rid of...
I hope everyone is doing well and feeling ok. Tigga do a lil maybe the ache will go away hehe Love you guys Have a great day

My Mood: Points: 9,817.50 Bank: 6,844.79 Total Points: 16,662.30 | Hey ladies!!!! My doctor appt. went well. My surgery is scheduled for Aug. 25th. The doctor does not think that I have PCOS. He did a ultrasound, no cysts. He is doing the blood work also. He thinks I may have a high androgen level which can make it harder to lose weight. DH has to have a semen analysis. He isn't looking forward to that. The doctor says after the surgery I should go ahead and try to get pregnant. I am trying to remember everything. He also says while trying to get pregnant I shouldn't try to lose weight, to wait until after I get pregnant and have the baby. Think that is all.
Roz,
So glad your dreams are better.
Paisley,
Thanks for the good luck and prayers. You are the sweetest!!!
Tigga,
Thanks for the support. I need it and appreciate it.

How are you all doing today? I'm still waiting for af to arrive! I almost hate waiting for af more than getting it! Especially when you have a face full of painful spots!
Leahdione - I hope everything goes well with you ttc! You must be excited to be given the go ahead by the doctor.
I would love to be ttc at the moment but my endocrinologist has told me that i must lose weight first - i guess he is right but that is much easier said than done!! I have lost 17lbs so far but still have a very long way to go. I guess it's for the best as i am in the process of moving home and money will be tight for a while until we get on our feet again - so having the possibility of a baby on the way would be stressful.
Anyway, I hope you are all having a good day!

It does feel good to be given the go ahead. We will wait until after the surgery though. He is going to do a hysteroscopy and check my tubes when he does the laproscopy too. he told me I should wait until after I have a baby to try and lose weight that i shouldn't try to right now. That is different from what all my other doctors told me.
Paisley,
I am so excited. I have wanted a baby for a while now. I will send pics and stuff when I do have one. I want to meet all my endo cysters but we are so spread out.
Roz, Tigga, and anyone else, hi, have a great day!
I am off to teach class. |

Leah~That IS quite the opposite of what doctors say...usually they want you to lose weight before you even think about ttc...
Roz~Glad you're dreams are getting a little less whacky...don't worry, be a piss pot and b**** all you want! That's why we're here!
Tigga~Hope Friday gets here before you know it! Sounds like you need it
Princess~Congrats on the weight loss!
Paisley~Glad that you are feeling better and that you made it to work yesterday.
Sweetmel~Your daughter is so adorable! I love the hair! I'm sorry I can't shed any light on the surgery, I haven't had it as of yet. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers though...
As for me, not too much going on. DH started a new job today and he was so nervous! I know he'll be fine, he's a supervisor now. On the baby front, I had a dream the other night that was so real it was scary! I dreamt that we had a baby, and I was holding him (I think it was a boy) and was kissing him on the face. I could actually feel my lips on his face! Now I don't know if this is a sign of things to come, or if God is just dangling what I can't have in my face. I really hope it's the first. I had the worst cramps yesterday, and I don't know what from. Maybe af is on her way. I don't know. I guess we'll see...Talk to you lovelies later!
