Which do you prefer and why? Do you have to let the hair grow out for either to be affective? Cost wise there's no comparison, but I've spent so much $$ on creams and waxes...I just want something that WORKS!

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.

You don't have to let the hair grow out to use either. I prefer the epilator because the hair eventually grows in slower and finer. The Magic Cream would get expensive fast if you had to use it on your legs, underarms, bikini area, and face twice per week. It took me almost an entire tube the first time I used it and it did not slow down my hair growth.
One more thing you should consider ... I noticed that you are pregnant. I personally would not use the Magic Cream if I were pregnant. Since it is made for men, there is no information on if it is safe to use during pregnancy. I may be overly paranoid about this sort of thing, but I feel it is not worth taking a chance. I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I am not intending for this to sound rude. I am only saying this because I have lost a baby and I know how I keep thinking back to every little thing that could have caused it. Now that I am seeing an RE, she is very strict on things like this while ttc. I realize that I am probably overly cautious.

I just tried the Magic stuff the other day and was not too impressed with it. I didn't like how it kind of hardens up and you have to re wet it. So far I like Veet the best. I couldn't use Nair because it was irritating to my skin and didn't really work for me. But, the Veet I have been quit pleased with.
