Does anyone use Epil Stop? I have seen the advert on TV many times, but never bought any as I didn't know if it will work. I was thinking of getting it to use on my legs and arms.

Not only did it not work for me it gave me an awful cemical burn and I do NOT have sensitive skin, I can leave Nair on for an hour and it still won't burn me, of course Nair doesn't work for me either but my opinion is stear clear of epil stop. Deffinately not worth the money.
Sillie - that's interesting, which part of your body did you have lasered?
Snowwhite - I heard this too, from another site where people review products. 3 ladies said the same as you and that they didn't even have sensitive skin... I can also leave Nair on for ages and nothing bad happens... but I do have sensitive skin so there's no way I will be buying ES - it sounds useless and seems to cost A LOT!
I continue in my quest for hairlessness

Vlal - I had my cheek area, chin, upper lip and sideburn area done. It is the best decision (other than marrying my DH) I have ever made!!!
I wake up each morning and don't have to think about stubble, or "wiskers".
I have had 6 treatments, and I noticed a difference after just one treatment.
It's not too painful. I have very fair skin (I call it corpse color) and very dark hairs. That is the best combination for a successful laser treatment.
If you would like anymore info., just let me know.
Sillie - was the laser very painful? And did you have to let the hair grow or anything to have it done? What about afterwards? Any redness or noticeable side effects?
I hope you don't mind me quizzing you out - I'm considering having it done myself and it helps to ask someone who has experienced it!
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. DH and I went camping. It was 25 degrees Farenheight (sp) and yes, we are nuts.
No it wasn't too painful, a bit uncomfortable while the doctor was doing it, but I wouldn't consider it pain. They give you this cream to put on your face about an hour before your appointment. Kind of like novacaine.
Immediately after the laser treatment, they have you put ice and aloe on the treated spots to help minimize the redness and puffiness. That lasts about 10 mins or so, and your done!!! The minor discomfort is well worth the results. Just know that there will have to be several visits and when all is said and done, there might have to be a maintainence once every few years after that.....depending on your individual hair growth.
You don't have to let your hair grow before the appointment, in fact, they tell you to shave just before the appointment.
IMHO....get it done!!! You'll be glad you did. Let me know if you have any other quetions. I'm here for you my Austrailian cyster!!
I have pretty much decided to get it - it's just a matter of $$'s - it will cost me nearly $600 to do my face (I have already got a quote) so I have to save up a bit.
But really I just wanted to know all the little things they don't tell you when you ask for information!
Mostly I was worried about if there would be any visibility issues before or after the treatment. Ie - having to grow the hair before the treatment (no way!! I couldn't be in public like that!) or if there were any issues afterwards that would make it noticeable. I didn't want to go to work and face a barrage of questions about why my face was red or something!
So you've answered my questions beautifully! I figure if I make my appointments for treatment on a Friday when I get it done I've got a couple of days to keep out of the sun and let any redness disappear before I go back to work.
I'll keep you posted as I get closer to getting it done. Time to bite the bullet and save some $$'s quick smart - and DO this!
