Question Epilady vs Emjoi

Has anyone used Epilady or Emjoi? How much does it hurt? Does the pain become less with each use? Which of these 2 is better? How does the hair grow back? Thicker, thinner?

Thumbs up

Hi hun!!!

I use an epilady! I really like it! It is a lot better than shaving to me! It is not that painful....it is uncomfortable...but I would not go as far as calling it painful. At first, I was a little worried about using it...because when you turn it on it can be daunting...but believe me you will really like the results. To me...the discomfort got a little better with every use...because I knew what to expect and I knew exactly how it was going to feel...so it took away that "initial shock." The hair grows back thinner after using it about 5 or 6 times! Sometimes when I use it....I get little red bumps that break out below my chin especially because that area is very sensitive on me. If you use some soothing cream or a product called "Bump Eliminator" that will really help!!!! I would reccomend using the Epilady....I really like it! I hope it goes well for you! Please let us know!!!

I also have an Epilady and love it. Have been using it for approx two years. I have to use it every two days on my neck and chin but it works well. Even the my doctor felt my neck and said you do not have any hair there. I said yeap I do I just pluck it every other day. I find it helps to exfoliate everyday decreases the bumbs and ingrown hairs. I love using St Ives exfoliating scrub (non-medicated). I also use it on my tummy every four days or so. Much better than shaving. I use a exfoliating mitt on my tummy!!
