Default Epsom Salt as a cleanse?

Hello, I just wanted to know if it was true that epsom salt can be used as a cleanse, I guess it would be a colon cleanse?

yeah, it is a colon cleanse but it works really fast (haven't tried it). It would seem a little harsh as you have to drink 20 ounces of water with epsom salt in it. What about an OTC (like garden of life brand) flush? It may be gentler on the system.

Oh okay I may have to try that one, a friend told me about the epsom salt but I was kinda skeptical since I only use it to soak in after those long gym hours....lol

Epsom salt is used in a liver cleanse/gall bladder flush. It is part of a recipe to help flush gall stones out of the gall bladder and liver. The epsom salt is Magnesium sulfate, which relaxes smooth muscles, like those of the gall bladder (and the uterus; magnesium sulfate is often used to stop preterm labor). Included in the recipe is olive oil, which stimulates the release of bile from the gall bladder, so while the smooth muscles are relaxed, the release of bile can flush the stones out.

If you are interested in getting a copy of a recipe for this type of liver flush, send me an email, and I will email you a copy of the one that I have.
