| ROFL! Eric, you nut!
Now I feel bad about only having 256 mb of Rambus because Rambus is too freak'n expensive to get more.
Gawd, I'm never happy. Lisa needs new maternity clothes, and I want even more RAM! I'm so unworthy.

but don't worry, the whole time I was pregnant and buying things for Teja, Mike wanted a new computer, computer magazines, and the almighty speakers for the computer.
So, you aren't alone, and believe it or not, us ladies are very used to it by now.

I daydream alot, and today while at work I have to admit I was mentally building myself one of those.
I wish I had more room, I would seriously build me one.
Hey, if you don't have any luck digging up a camera, lemme know, I'll let you borrow mine.

New pix are up... thanx lee but a coworker + friend who lives about a mile away has a kickbutt camera that I've been using. I just have to remember to ask! I have a 640x480 one, but it's pretty junky.
Anyway, I got the motherboard on a pull-out shelf now, and it's working nice-nice. It's coming along...... now all I gotta do is find a bigger monitor somewhere for cheap.....

Looks like it's coming right along! That sliding shelf thingie is ingenious!
Question though? Does the CD rom work okay on it's side like that? I've often wondered if they would but haven't tried. I wonder about stupid things sometimes. I've even marveld about how the PS2 CD had a little slot to hold the CD verticle.
About the bigger monitor, have you considerd a video card with a TV out and just using a old TV? Because once you get monitors above 17" the price is just crazy!

This one has 4 little tabs that can swivel into place to secure the CD in the drive. Others have a metal bar across the bottom, etc. ...... but you're right about the sliding shelf.. it really does make it a lot easier to work on.
I think once I get it "finished", I'll bring it upstairs (it's in the basement now), so it'll see more use.

Just when you think you have these things all figured out, ya learn something knew.
