I bought "A Patient's Guide to PCOS" on Friday at lunch, and I finished it on Sunday in between laundry loads and I found a lot of good information in it. I've also just started reading the Collette PCOS & fertility book, but haven't gotten very far with it.
I just finished reading "The Savvy Woman's Guide to PCOS" by Elizabeth Lee Vliet. Of course, I have nothing to compare it to, but I found it a great beginners book for initially learning about PCOS and what you can do about it.

I have just started PCOS: A Womans Guide to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome by Colette Harris & Adam Carey. I'll let you know how I get on.
Has any one read these?
I finished reading this book recently. I didn't know whether to be amused or insulted by her reference to spotted hyenas. She suggests they are a good animal model for PCOS. I now tell my husband I'm like a spotted hyena.

I have that PCOS Diet Book by Colette Harris; very helpful - if you follow her advice. I've been on and off, and my weight has yo-yoed as a result, not to mention other symptoms. Now I'm on again, re-reading the book and wondering why on earth do I stray from that!!?

I bought this one. Haven't cracked it yet but I'm hopeful about its potential. I guess it just came out 2 months ago
I bought this book for $12-13 at books a million. It is great! Another must read is The New Glucose Revolution Guide to Living Well with PCOS (Lose weight, boost fertility and gain control over pcos with the glycemic index) By Dr. Jennie Brand-Miller with Dr. Nadir R. Farid, Kate Marsh

I am newly diagnosed, and the first book I was able to get ahold of was the PCOS diet book by Dr. Nancy Dunne. It basically walks you through creating a more natural and healthy eating lifestyle. It has some great information and is written in easy to understand terms. I do have to do some creative alterations as I am a vegetarian and the recipes in the book involve alot of animal protein. I really would like to get some of the other books people on this thread have mentioned.
This has a great way of looking at your eating, exercising and lifestyle and how to make small changes to make a big difference long term for your health.

She has also got another book out called The PCOS Diet Book(How you can use a nutritional approach to deal with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) which also has a lot of good and positive reviews.
