I go to Dr. Futterweit. He is amazing. if anybody lives in the nyc area, definitely considering going to him. he's expensive but i've been so happy. he's given me great hope in not only getting healthy but also having a baby

These books sound great and I plan on getting a few. I ordered "The Natural Diet Solution for PCOS and Infertility: How to Manage PCOS Naturally" by Nancy Dunne, N.D. and Bill Slater MBA and I was immensely disappointed. Anyone else check it out? I knew I was doomed when it said I should eliminate all beans and legumes AND all dairy. Apparently milk is the devil. I just don't see how you can be healthy and eliminate such important parts of the food group. KWIM?

Anyone else familiar? Am I off base here? I stopped reading it because I just didn't see how it was going to be effective tool for me.

Currently off meds (except Met) to try and lose weight. I am convinced it is what is holding me back.

Thank you, I know these aren't at my local library as we live in Smalltown, USA. But I think I will check out Amazon.

This list is great and I am now ordering some of these books from amazon. One that I would like to add to the list is Healing Syndrome O: A Strategic Guide to Fertility, Polycystic Ovaries, and Insulin Imbalance by Ronald Feinberg, M. D., PhD. I have recently finished it and was very impressed. Dr. Feinberg writes in a manner that is very informative yet remains easy to understand as well as sensitive.

Thank you everyone who shares information on this site. I feel so sad about my PCOS symptoms sometimes I just want to cry. I've been made to feel that I was crazy, but I knew something was wrong with me. I finally have a diagnosis of PCOS, and it is so nice to hear that other people are going through the same thing.

Has anyone read Taking Charge of Your Fertility? A lot of people have recommended it but I don't know if it's really relevant to PCOS.
