When you get to the main page, search on "polycystic ovary syndrome". MAKE SURE YOU TYPE OVARY AND NOT OVARIAN...
The guide is close to 200 pages with TONS of research, and an international PCOS physician listing.
Your personal doctor should have a copy, too, because it breaks down all of the various research topics like clomid & pcos, metformin & pcos, pregnancy & pcos, etc...
Did I mention that this is a MUST HAVE - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING THIS FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR DOCTOR!

Ok I'd like to get a book so I know more about PCOS. Although I was diagnosed with it i have no clue what it really is. But I'd like to have a book that will be easy to understand. I'm not a medical person at all, so I dont want to buy a book taht uses all medical terms with no explanation. Any suggestions on what book would be "easy" reading??

smilies610, if it helps, I have read the book Living with PCOS and I thought it was very easy to understand (I had my husband read it too, I thought it gave a good overview of the syndrome + treatments). That one might be a good one to start with.

here is another suggestion for a good read on pcos - - "A Patient's Guide to PCOS; Understanding and Reversing Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome" by Walter Futterweit, M.D. I only bought it 2 days ago and already half way through, it has everything in it, including diets, exercise, and ttc!

I've also read "It's my ovaries, stupid!" by Elizabeth Lee Vliet M.D. And I agree with Little Lady, it's a great book, very informative. Another book by Dr. Vliet that helped me to understand a whole lot is "Women, Weight and Hormones". Has anyone read The savvy womans guide to PCOS?
