Default Essential and carrier oils

I am reading the PCOS diet book... and it says that if you dont have a period... that rubbing lavender or melissa oil on your abdomen can help bring AF back... It says to mix 2 drops of the essential oil in one teaspoon of carrier oil...

Okay so

Lavender would be my essential oil...
and
Evening primrose would be my carrier oil

am I figuring this out right?

You buy evening primrose by the bottle? Neat. I can only get it in capsules.
I use sweet almond oil as a carrier oil, but jojoba and grapeseed also work just fine. I have never heard of using EP oil before as a carrier.

Thats because EP oil has medicinal qualities of it's own. I'd use a neutral oil, like olive for my carrier oil. Be careful of what you mix! Do some research first! Find out if they're ok together.
