My names Sammy and I've just set up an Essex Support group for sufferers of PCOS. I Joined the Verity site and forum and got dragged into it all from there lol.
Our first meeting is set for Friday 22nd of September at 7pm to be held at Lakeside in Thurrock. So if your interested in coming along please feel free to get in touch.
This first meeting is going to be pretty informal, just people getting together chatting and having a few drinks, supporting each other and making friends, future dates for further meetings will be arranged there to.
I live in Essex! I live near Braintree/Chelmsford. Unfortunately, I can't make it to Thurrock, but would be interested in any other meetings you will be having.

Sorry you can't make it to Lakeside but I do have another member coming along from Chelmsford by public transport, maybe if your interested I could put you in touch with her and see if you can come up with something. If not I'll try to make the next meeting somewhere else so that you can attend. In the meantime if you need anything please feel free to email me.

We'll be meeting at Frankie & Benny's in Lakeside, Thurrock at 7pm on Friday 22nd of September so if your interested in coming let me know as I'll be booking a table and I need to get a rough idea on numbers.

The meet went really well thanks, I'm now in the process of setting up another one for December in basildon with a view to making it a bit of a Christmas do. We haven't set a date yet though, I'm letting people get back to me with what works for them before picking one. When a dates been decided I'll post it on here in the hope some new members might join us.
