I know that some women are given Estrace with iui cycles while others are given Estrace to prepare for a Frozen Embryo Transfer(the reason I am currently taking it)
Yesterday while talking to my RE's office I was asked if I was taking it vaginally. I wasn't told I could take it vaginally so I was taking it orally. I am wierded out by shoving pills up there but after recently having a miscarriage I learned that sometimes it's better to take the pills vaginally than orally.
I was just wondering to those of you that have used Estrace in your cycles which way did you take it?
And what was your outcome? Did you become pregnant?
My nurse didn't seem to know if one way was better than the other and didn't even seem to have an opinion of which way she though was better so I am left to try and find answers myself.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey beetle girl - I took it orally and I did not get pregnate, we did not do IUI or the Embryo Transfer we just BD. I am currently on the Estrace again and taking it orally. I was not aware that you could take it vaginally either. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you!!

Isn't it nice how doctors always forget to tell us stuff like that?
I know I had a somewhat successful cycle using it but I am curious to find out if taking it vaginally may be more helpful.

Yeah doctors are wonderful sometimes. It would be nice to see which is better. I didn't get pregnate last cycle (3 big sized folllies) and I was wondering if it was cause I kept forgetting to take it. This time I make sure I take it every night.
We are going to BD again, I think if this one is a bust we might do IUI. What are you doing this cycle?? What CD are you on. I am on CD13 just had an ultrasound and bloodwork done today. I had a 10 and a 16 follie.
I am doing a Frozen Embryo Transfer. I am only on cycle day 3, ultrasound & blood on cycle day 10 and on cycle day 14 they do the transfer of the embryos.
2 weeks later they do the beta.
