Default estraidol

My estraidol had been consistently low. I am reading Dr. Vliet's book on PCOS and she mentions the use of plant based bio-synthetic estraidol. Has anyone else used this? I am a terrible sleeper and I am hoping that this will help.

I am using Estradiol now. This is the regimen I am on:

But I am ttc right now. You didn't mention if you were. Are you just trying to treat the symptoms of PCOS or are you trying to conceive? Or are you doing both?

I think by plant based she means as opposed to equine derived estrogen products (ie estrogen from pregnant mare urine) -- plant estrogen that has been modified in the lab to be bio-identical to human estrogen (specifically 17-beta-estradiol). It is available with a prescription in several delivery forms. Generally a women would need to take either progesterone or progestin with an estrogen product in order to protect her uterus. In my experince it has been helpful for sleep quality. I don't have experience/knowledge about its use for fertility but it has seemed helpful to me for PCOS and syptoms that are related to low estrogen.
