I was wondering if any of you ladies, or anyone you know has adopted from Ethiopia? I just got my paperwork in the mail and was wondering about some things.....

Sorry, I don't know anyone who's adopted from Ethiopia at all either. Like Lisa said though, I'd be happy to help with any general questions.. or to help try to figure stuff out. You get VERY good at figuring stuff out during this process!

Here is a site that if you haven't visited yet does have people who are adopting from there and maybe you can get your questions answered on there I found some people under International Adoption General Issues discussing Ethiopia adoption http://forums.adoption.com/forumdisplay.php?f=74
www.fertilethoughts.com is also a helpful site and there may be a few people there adopting from Ethopia as well

Good luck with the Ethiopian adoption route, Amy, if that is what you choose to pursue! I've been thinking about you a lot lately. Hope all else is well.
I have been in contact with Wide Horizons for Children. They have a website and phone numbers for who you can talk to about international adoption.
We went to a seminar with them when we were first researching. They are a much larger agency than the one we chose (which specializes only in China) but offered a lot of good info that we could then take and make a decision.
