**Eureka! I think this may solve some ticker/signature problems!**

If you get a message telling you your ticker is too large and needs to be under 150x400 (or whatever the measurement is), go into "User CP," and click on "Options." Scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options," and where it says "Message Editor Interface" make sure you have chosen the "Standard Editor."

I'm dying to see if this solves the problem for people!

Hmmm, well...it didn't work for me. Mine was already set to standard. I went ahead and updated and tried to put in a ticker from a different site and I get the message - "Your signature can not have images larger than 400 width x 150 height in pixels"

My ticker from tickercentral works using hmtl code.

I changed my editing option to enchanced to see what would happen. It shows in the editing box your siggy as you see it on the board. When I try to put the ticker in there I get the same message but it shows the ticker in the editing box.

I tried all three editing options and I still get the same message. I tried adding a ticker from tickerfactory.com.

Well, I was going to try and post the question on VBulletin, but even after registering it won't let me post. Maybe they can figure it out.

Awww bummer, sorry Tina! I was really hoping that was the problem. I always had it set on standard, and last night I was goofing around with my options and put the editor on the most advanced setting. After that I noticed I couldn't add a ticker, I would get the "400x150" message, so I changed my setting back to "standard" and it worked like a charm.

It might still be helpful to other posters...?

I tried making a sig and I couldnt get it to work. Then I found this post! yay

My options were set on Enhanced, after I switched to Standard, it let me save the sig.. so I guess this is a test to see if it actually worked! lol

Oh my God!! Thanks so much! Everytime I tried to edit my signature it gave me that stupid message and I had to go back to ticker central and redo my ticker! Thanks again!!!
