Every post adds thread as subscription, how do I stop this?

Everytime I post on any thread it automatically adds it to my subscriptions. How do I stop this??

Hi, Monica!

You've probably already noticed, but when you go to your User CP and see the subscriptions listed, there is an option to "Unsubscribe" that you can click on under the title of the post. It will take it off your subscription list. That's what I do when I feel I have blethered enough about a post!

But, perhaps you are asking how to prevent it to be on the subscription list in the first place? That one I don't know.

Actually, yes that's what I am wondering how to get it to stop in the first place. I did eventually figure out how to get them off but how do I stop them from getting there to begin with?? Hummmmm????

Go into your main settings. It sounds like you have 'automatically subscribe' checked.
