I know I look and feel better when I do more strength training.
I just couldn't get over the ten pound weight gain.(but I was two sizes smaller!)
I need to add it back into my routine. I just have become addicted to the cardio.
I am going to focus more on the strength training this coming year. Thanks for the picture! What a great reminder

I think a lot of folks get addicted to cardio. I used to have a fitness trainer friend at my gym. When she worked there she used to warn us, "Do strength training, too...don't become a Cardio Junkie!"

I think it's because cardio just feels so good! I don't necessarily get that "feel-good" feeling after a good weight lifting session. I always do a little cardio on my weight training days, but the weights are so important!!
Great picture! It helps tremendously to have a visual when you're working your tail off and gaining 4 pounds!!!!! [step away from the scale!]
