My laser treatments weren't painful at all. My doctor used Cool Glide Laser for hair removal.
There are various different lasers that can be used for laser hair removal. I had done laser hair removal for my upper lip and it worked... until I stopped using my bcp and the symptoms of PCOS came on in full force. I think if I had waited until after I stopped using bcp I would have had more positive results.

How long did you take MET before you saw results? I stopped taking it last month because I had been on it for four months and nothing changed, maybe I should start up again. I am still getting more hair in unwanted places.
I've been on Metformin for years and haven't noticed any improvement but I am extremely hairy. A lot of self conscious women say that but I can grow a full beard and mustache, sideburns and all. However, I would not stop taking Metformin for that reason. There are times when you'll have to be on a medication 6 months or more to notice the full potential. Try the Metformin again and have follow up tests to ensure you are on the correct dosage. Also remember, if you choose to have LHR without having your androgen levels under control, you'll only be wasting money. Good luck!!
