I just wanted to take a minute to recommened Dr. Herrell at ETSU OB/Gyn. He is my favorite doctor of all time! After 2 PCPs and 2 GYNs, I saw Dr. Herrell, who instantly recognized my PCOS symptoms and gave the correct diagnosis. At the time I saw him he was only a resident, but he's so good that straight out of residency he was offered an Associate Professorship at ETSU's med school, so now he is a full-fledged attending practicing out of their clinic. He is SUPER knowledgable about PCOS and IR, and after prescribing Metformin for me I was able to get pregnant! At 10 weeks, I developed hypertension, and at 30 weeks I developed a condition called oligohydramnios (low amniotic fluid). Dr. H saw us safely through both conditions (again, as a resident), and my son and I owe our lives to him. I'll never see anyone else!!!
