Default Excellent PCOS docs in Illinois

After going through so many doctors that told my daughter that there was nothing wrong with, I wanted to post the incredible doctors that listened, cared, dug deeper and deeper, and finally found what was wrong:

Dr. Stokes *endo -- Champaign, Illinois -- Christie Clinic (my daughter attends U of I -- believe it or not, the doctors here in the Chicago area had no clue, the central Illinois doctor just looked at my daughter and said "have you ever heard of PCOS?" He continues to make er confident of managing this and most of all, listens to her an takes her seriously. Email me if you need phone number.

Dr. Short - PCOS specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. HE was THE most awesome doctor. Dr. Stokes (above) recommended we go to Mayo to just make sure his dx was correct (he said he would love to believe he knew everything about PCOS but wanted us to pursue confirming opinion) -- we were so very impressed with the knowledge, manner, etc. of Mayo. Well worth out trip and $.

Hope that helps!
