Default Excessive sweating - possible remedy

So the other day, I'm in the drugstore, and I see a blue box with B+Drier in the anti-perspirant sections.

It contains 15% ALUMINUM CHLORIDE, which is even more than Certain Dri.

Even better, rather than a roll-on applicator, it has a cloth 'dab' top.

I gave it a try this past week when I was at QVC...this past year, i've been getting so darn hot under the lights that I always have to have tissues to dab my face, and sometimes a fan sitting off to the side to keep me cool.

This time I dabbed B+Drier on my forhead, nose, and cheeks for 2 consecutive nights before I was on, and guess what? I was DRY, DRY, DRY.

Now in all fairness, it does say, "use under arms only", so I'm not 'recommending' anyone do this, but I'm just sayin'...it worked for me.

If you have sensitive skin, this might not be a good thing. The first night I used it right after I washed my face - not the smartest thing, as there was some slight stinging (but no redness.)

The second night, I didn't use as much (the dab pad was barely moist), and there was no stinging.

Ok..just thought I'd pass this along.

The website is: www.BDrier.com

Cool, Kat. I might have to give that a try. I now use Maxim (have to order online) and it works wonders. But if I can find something just as effective in stores, I'd rather do that!

Great! Thanks for the info! I've been looking for something different than Certain Dri, because I think my 'pits are getting used to it. I think I'll give it a try! Nicky, I've never heard of Maxim. How long have you been using it?

Interesting. I thought I was the only woman who sweat as badly as I do. Certain Dri just doesn't do the trick. Thanx!

I used Certain Dri at first, it only worked somewhat for me. I've been using Maxim for like 5 years. My pits were horrible. I used to have to always wear a back cardigan over everything otherwise the sweat marks were VERY visible. Now I apply Maxim like every 2 months. There was a period though where I had to use it almost daily. Also, I went through a period where I thought it wasn't working anymore. But I kept at it. It has worked wonders, truly. I can wear ANYTHING now without having sweaty pits. I highly recommend it!!

www.coradhealthcare.com I bought the 4 pack like 4 years ago and STILL have some left. So it can last you for a long time. It does have a sting to it after applying that you get used to... now it doesn't bother me what-so-ever!!
