I think this is great! If anyone enjoy running and and has a Apple Ipod Nano, I would suggest getting the Nike Plus. I use it and set up my own username and profile online and create "challenges" with fellow friends, such as "the fastest mile," or "20 miles in one month."

If you don't know what the Nike plus is its a small reciever that goes in your shoes and the other part goes in your nano and tracks how far and fast you run. It gives you stats and you can compare them to fellow friends. I use it to make bets.

Currently My boyfriend and I created a challenge who can run 20 miles first. I normally run about 5 miles a day so I can knock that out in a week. If I beat him, he has to make my bike payment It keeps the relationship fun and challenging as well as healthy.

If other have it please add me! My username is Flipmutt as well.

Omg, I really want a nike plus, what a great motivational tool! By the way, to the OP, when you put it like that (exercise = a drug), how can I resist? hehe. Right now, I am taking a pilates plus weight lifting class 2x a week and doing DDR in between. It's definitely getting the pounds off (-16 so far) and it makes me feel so accomplished! Yay for posts like these!!! Let's keep it going

Flipmutt, there are a couple of cysters over at FC who use Nike+. I keep meaning to use mine, but haven't gotten around to it. I'm currently grounded from running (injured my foot), but I hope to be running again tomorrow.

I didn't know that the nike plus is only 29 bucks! I can do that! I paid $100 plus for a heart rate monitor, which was well worth it, by the way, so 29 is nothing!

Yes, Kat, DDR is AWESOME. What is CardioCoach? Is that for the wii? If I had a wii, I would definitely try the wii fit, I've been hearing good things about it.

No, it's an audio program you put on your iPod for use with any cardio equipment (or running/walking outside).

If you like ddr, you'll LOVE Cardio Coach.

Exercising is a HUGE part of my life now and I LOVE IT! Actually, when I go a day without it, I feel blue. It not only is so good for your health physically, but mentally.

After many years of working out, I am a total grouch if I can't get some form of physical activity most days of the week. I totally agree - it's like a drug!

Great job ladies! I was walking around campus for an hour (5 days a week) and I started feeling SO much better. Life got a too crazy so I stopped and I'm back to having no energy! Now if I can go back to it AND start eating better, I know improvements will follow! Send some motivation my way please!!

Yay for Exercise, fellow Cysters!! We can beat this PCOS!

I burned 500+ calories at the gym today.

Just read today that exercise and diet for PCOS'ers reduces insulin resistance 71% or so. WOW!!! Just think if we keep this up every single day, results like that is like taking a drug, when were just exercising!

We can do this for ourselves! Makes me feel upbeat!

71%??? AMAZING!!!

I feel great about my workout today. Did interval cardio but without the cardio coach, as i didnt have time to do any dls, but i listed to a funny podcast instead.

herbsgirl--500 cals is fantastic! don't u feel so accomplished? i get about that from a pilates class i take and it really is pretty impossible for me to get that large a calorie deficit on my own. what is your 500 calorie busting workout?

Just did the cross training machine, where you can pull with your arms and go up and down with your feet. I did 35 min or so, I had sweat dripping off of my face! Yes, I did feel pretty good.
